Revit Technician (MEP)
The Revit Technician (MEP) will join our Birmingham office, producing detailed 3D models and coordinated drawings for building services projects.
This full‑time position offers hybrid working and a salary between £30,000 and £45,000 per annum.
The role involves collaborating with engineers to develop precise MEP designs, ensuring clash detection and compliance with project specifications.

Responsibilities
- Produce accurate 3D MEP models using Autodesk Revit.
- Create coordinated Mechanical and Electrical building services drawings throughout all project stages.
- Carry out model coordination and clash detection using Revit and Navisworks.
- Work closely with Mechanical and Electrical Engineers to develop coordinated design solutions.
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings and resolve design clashes.
- Assist with model reviews, audits and quality assurance procedures.
- Prepare drawings and models for design reviews, construction and project handover.
- Ensure BIM deliverables comply with project standards and client requirements.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, architects and external consultants throughout project delivery.
- Support the continuous development of BIM processes and modelling standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Revit Technician within a Building Services or MEP consultancy.
- Strong knowledge of Autodesk Revit for MEP modelling.
- Experience producing coordinated Mechanical and Electrical services models.
- Understanding of clash detection and model coordination using Navisworks.
- Knowledge of BIM standards and collaborative workflows.
- Experience with COBie or an understanding of COBie data requirements would be advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
