Overview
Pertemps Tamworth Commercial is seeking a Retail Assistant for a temporary 7-week assignment based in Mickleover, Derby. This part-time position offers consistent hours from 6:00pm to 9:00pm on a fixed rota of three or four shifts per week, with weekly pay at £12.71 per hour. The role starts on 20 July.
Responsibilities
- Receive deliveries and prepare new stock for the shop floor
- Unpack and organise merchandise for display
- Replenish shelves and display units
- Assist customers with friendly, helpful service
- Keep the department clean, tidy, and well presented
Requirements
- Friendly and approachable
- Reliable and punctual
- Happy to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Great team player with a positive attitude
- Previous retail experience is an advantage but not essential
