Job Description
The Resilience Contractor Associate Director will lead a specialist team in London on a 12-month full-time contract, with a negotiable payment and project bonus.
This role requires senior-level experience directing resilience, business continuity, and crisis management activities within a corporate setting.
Key skills include maintaining business continuity management systems, a thorough grasp of ISO 22301:2019, and managing incidents at strategic, tactical, and operational levels.
The successful candidate will design and deliver crisis exercises for all organisational tiers, including senior executives.
A CBCI or equivalent certification and degree-level education (or relevant professional experience) are essential.
- Demonstrable experience of leading resilience, business continuity and crisis management activity at a senior level in a corporate environment.
- Experience in business continuity, maintaining business continuity management systems and a strong comprehension of ISO 22301:2019.
- Experience in incident and crisis management, leading response teams at strategic, tactical and operational levels and managing incidents for an organisation.
- Experience in writing and delivering crisis exercises to all levels of the organisation, including senior executives.
- CBCI or equivalent certification.
- Degree-level education (or equivalent relevant professional experience will be considered.
- Excellent communicator with strong presentational skills and the ability to offer prompt and accurate advice to senior management and tenants.
- Exceptional organisational skills and capable of working independently if necessary to formulate strategy, policy and procedures, and then deliver by implementing and embedding within the company.
- Innovative and proactive thinker with the ability to constructively challenge existing practices.
