Residential Support Worker - Children's Home in Yardley, a permanent position offering £29,808 to £30,432 per annum. We are looking for Residential Support Workers to join our Children's Residential Homes - previous experience in residential childcare or supporting young people is desirable but not essential. Your responsibilities as Residential Support Worker:
- Assist young people with daily routines, education and activities
- Build strong, positive relationships that create trust and stability
- Help maintain a safe, structured and supportive home environment
- Assist with care plans, routines and developmental goals
- Contribute to shift coordination and support the wider team with a range of domestic tasks such as cleaning, cooking, and food shopping
- Complete reports, records and day-to-day household responsibilities
What we're looking for in a Residential Support Worker:
- Previous experience in residential childcare or supporting young people is desirable but not essential
- Ideally an understanding of safeguarding and care planning processes
- Experience working within structured residential or care environments would be an advantage but not essential
- Willingness to complete relevant childcare qualifications
