Residential Property Lawyer – Somerset
This role is for a Residential Property Lawyer to join an established Property team in Somerset.
The incumbent will manage a varied caseload of residential transactions, including freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers from instruction to completion.
Responsibilities
- Manage own caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion.
- Handle freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity and other residential property matters.
- Deliver practical, commercially focused advice while maintaining high standards of client care.
- Develop relationships with clients, introducers and local professional networks to grow profile and firm.
Qualifications
- Qualified solicitor or conveyancer with minimum six years post‑qualification experience.
- Independent management of a busy, varied caseload with minimal supervision.
- Strong technical knowledge of all aspects of residential conveyancing.
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and strong communication and client relationship skills.
- Commercial mindset, enthusiasm for business development and networking.
- Willingness to support colleagues and contribute to team success.
- Proactive, adaptable and solution‑focused attitude.
