This role supports children across the EYFS curriculum within a Reception class, helping them settle into school routines and build confidence.

• Provide classroom support and work with children in small groups and on a 1:1 basis where needed.
• Reinforce early communication, literacy, and number skills.
• Work closely with the class teacher to help pupils make a positive start to school.

• You are patient, encouraging, and able to communicate clearly with young children.
• You want meaningful classroom experience, enjoy helping children develop confidence from the earliest stage, and are keen to build the practical skills needed for a future in teaching.

• Degree – A 2:2 or above in a creative subject.
• Clear and confident verbal and written communication.
• Enhanced DBS – Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
• Desire to work with children – Genuine interest in supporting pupil progress and wellbeing.
• Career Goals – A desire to train as a teacher and build a long-term career in education.
