This role supports children across the EYFS curriculum within a Reception class, helping them settle into school routines and build confidence.
Responsibilities- Provide classroom support and work with children in small groups and on a 1:1 basis where needed.
- Reinforce early communication, literacy, and number skills.
- Work closely with the class teacher to help pupils make a positive start to school.
- You are patient, encouraging, and able to communicate clearly with young children.
- You want meaningful classroom experience, enjoy helping children develop confidence from the earliest stage, and are keen to build the practical skills needed for a future in teaching.
- Degree – A 2:2 or above in a creative subject.
- Clear and confident verbal and written communication.
- Enhanced DBS – Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
