A Real Estate Solicitor (Healthcare) is sought to join the market-leading Corporate Healthcare team of a national law firm in Birmingham. This role is suited to a solicitor with over three years' PQE who will advise healthcare providers, investors, lenders, and corporate operators.
The caseload encompasses acquisitions, disposals, portfolio transactions, development projects, sale and leaseback arrangements, and property aspects of corporate acquisitions.
This full-time position offers a salary between £65,000 and £75,000 per annum.
Responsibilities
- Advise a broad client base including healthcare providers, investors, lenders and corporate operators on real‑estate matters within the healthcare sector.
- Handle acquisitions and disposals, portfolio transactions, development projects, sale and leaseback arrangements, and property aspects of corporate acquisitions, private equity transactions, and buy‑and‑build strategies.
- Collaborate with partners and specialists across corporate, banking, planning, construction and regulatory teams to deliver commercially focused advice.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ PQE gained within a recognised commercial property team.
- Strong commercial real‑estate experience with exposure to corporate support work.
- Excellent technical ability, drafting and negotiation skills.
- Commercial awareness, enthusiasm for business development and ambition to progress within a specialist sector.
