Yard Operative / FLT CB
Pertemps Reading seeks a Yard Operative / FLT CB for a busy client in Reading. This full-time post, paying £14 to £16 hourly, involves picking customer orders, moving heavy products across the yard and warehouse, plus loading and unloading vehicles.
The holder checks paperwork before despatch, completes daily forklift safety inspections, and ensures stock is stored, handled and loaded securely.
Responsibilities
- Picking customer orders
- Moving heavy products around the yard / warehouse
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Ensuring paperwork is correct prior to despatch
- Complete daily FLT Safety Checks
- Ensuring all stock is stored, handled and loaded safely and securely
Requirements
- Current Forklift Counterbalance Certification
- Experience in a similar role
- A positive, can-do attitude
- Effective communication skills
