Freelance Driver Trainer (copy) role
The Freelance Driver Trainer (copy) role in Reading involves delivering half and full-day coaching sessions for PDT Fleet Training Solutions, working on client premises with category B vehicles, mostly vans. This contract position pays £150 per day and requires precise, timely completion of assessment reports following each four-hour session. The work combines classroom instruction with practical on-road driver induction and upgrade courses for prestigious clients across Great Britain. Candidates should possess strong communication abilities and a thorough understanding of fleet driver standards. This assignment suits experienced assessors seeking flexible, location-based work, with assignments spanning multiple sites nationwide. PDT Fleet Training Solutions is looking to onboard several Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/Instructors/Assessors at multiple locations across Great Britain. This role involves working with prestigious clients and delivering a mix of classroom and on-road driver induction or upgrade courses at locations across the country. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work for the UK's fastest growing and forward-thinking providers of fleet driver training.
Duties
- Delivering both half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions on client premises in category B vehicles (mostly vans).
- Half-day courses are 4 hours in duration.
- Timely completion of an accurate assessment report.
Skills & Experience
- Desirable qualifications include being accredited as an (ADI) Approved Driving Instructor Fleet Trainer or recorded on the LGV National Instructors Register (NIR).
- A proactive approach to delivering engaging and inclusive training (positive driver behaviours are to be promoted).
- Experience in delivering courses in electric vehicles (free upskill training is available to the right applicants).
- Professional approach to the delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.
- Excellent communication and report‑writing skills.
Your laptop and printer (all course presentation material is provided by PDT).
