Quality Technician position based in Pershore, inspecting precision components for defence, automotive, rail, and aerospace sectors.
Job Details
- Location: Pershore (commutable from Evesham, Worcester, Tewkesbury, Stratford upon Avon).
- Working hours: Monday–Thursday 07:45–17:00, Friday 07:45–13:00.
- Salary: £30,000–£33,500 per annum.
Responsibilities
- Perform first-off, in-process, and final inspections using verniers, height gauges, and measuring arms.
- Verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and customer quality requirements.
- Complete first article inspection reports.
- Raise and manage non-conformance reports and investigate customer concerns.
- Maintain accurate inspection and calibration records in line with national standards.
- Drive continuous improvement across the business.
- Assist management with maintaining production output, relieving bottlenecks and ensuring smooth operations.
- Train shop floor personnel on quality requirements.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a quality inspection or control role within a manufacturing environment.
- Conversant with measuring equipment such as verniers, height gauges, and multi-axis measuring arms.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or AS9100.
- Confident communicator at all levels.
- Keen eye for detail.
