Overview
Production Operative / PPT Operator based in North Yorkshire on a temporary contract until September 2026.
Shift pattern: 2 days on, 6 days off, from 06:00 to 18:00.
Responsibilities
- Operate powered pallet trucks and move stock within the production area.
- Assist with production tasks and support the production team within the Green Area.
- Receive inbound goods and record deliveries on the company system.
- Carry out routine walk-round checks of the plant area.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety and housekeeping.
- Support general production and warehouse duties as required.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Previous production, manufacturing, warehouse or factory experience.
- Food manufacturing experience is advantageous.
- Good level of computer literacy.
- Reliable and flexible approach with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) licence/certificate would be highly desirable; training/certification may be provided for the right candidate.
- Shift Details
- Days: 06:00–18:00, pattern 2 days on / 6 days off.
- Nights: 18:00–06:00, pattern 2 nights on / 6 days off. 12-hour shifts; all breaks paid.
