We are looking for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to lead a department in Norfolk. The role will manage a diverse caseload covering wills, probate, lasting powers of attorney, estate planning, and will also oversee a team and drive departmental strategy. The position offers a clear route to partnership for the right candidate. Full‑time hours are required, with a competitive salary on offer.
As Head of Private Client, you will take the lead in a successful and well‑established department, combining hands‑on client work with strategic leadership. You’ll have the autonomy to influence the direction of the team, mentor talented lawyers and play a key role in the continued growth of the firm.
You will manage a varied and high‑quality caseload, including:
- Wills and estate planning
- Trusts
- Probate and estate administration
- Lasting powers of attorney
- Court of protection matters
Alongside your own caseload, you’ll inspire and develop your team, identify business development opportunities, strengthen client relationships and ensure the department continues to deliver an exceptional standard of service.
We’re looking for an accomplished Private Client Solicitor with:
- At least 10 years’ PQE
- Strong technical expertise across the full spectrum of private client work
- Previous supervisory or management experience
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Commercial awareness and a passion for developing people and growing a department
- STEP qualification would be highly advantageous
- Established network of professional contacts and referrers
