Manpower UK is seeking a Passenger Assistant to join the team at Preston Train Station on a temporary basis, offering up to £13.50 per hour.

The position requires 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, with an immediate start available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet and greet customers who have pre-booked assistance services.
  • Escort and guide passengers around the station and to the correct platforms.
  • Provide reassurance, support and information to customers throughout their journey.
  • Assist members of the public with enquiries and directions.
  • Act as a key point of contact for anyone requiring assistance within the station.
  • Use radios to communicate with colleagues and operational teams.
  • Update and upload information onto internal systems.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service at all times.
  • Manage multiple tasks in a busy and fast‑paced environment.
  • Go the extra mile to provide a positive customer experience.
