This full-time Civil Engineer role based in Poole offers a salary between £35,000 and £50,000.
You will join a respected engineering consultancy, working alongside Senior Engineers and Technicians on diverse projects.
Your responsibilities will span the design and delivery of multi‑story residential developments, new housing, schools, commercial sites, and infrastructure schemes from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and detailed design of civil engineering schemes, including highways, drainage, earthworks and associated infrastructure.
- Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports and design documentation in accordance with current standards and best practice.
- Produce high‑quality engineering drawings and models using industry‑standard software.
- Support the technical delivery of projects, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
- Liaise with clients, contractors and other project stakeholders throughout the design process.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate designs and resolve technical challenges.
- Undertake site visits, surveys and inspections to gather information and monitor project progress.
About You
- Experience working within a civil engineering consultancy or similar environment.
- Knowledge of highways, drainage, and infrastructure design.
- Strong technical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- A commitment to delivering high‑quality work and excellent client service.

- Auto CAD (including Vehicle Tracking)
- Civil3D
- Micro Drainage PDS (roads, drainage, traffic signs and road markings)
