Rapier Employment seeks a Van Driver for a full-time, temporary position in Oxford, supporting a well-known client across the Oxfordshire area. This role involves transporting blood and tissue samples between medical sites, completing 20 to 30 drops daily, and handling pathology deliveries and collections. You will also deliver internal mail and collect samples from surgeries and hospitals.

Shifts start between 06:00 and 12:00 on a rota basis, Monday to Friday, totalling 37.5 hours per week. Pay is £12.71 per hour, with overtime at x1.5 after standard hours. No heavy lifting or hazardous goods are involved. Full training is provided, with potential for progression. Induction and assessments are required.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Transporting blood and tissue samples between sites
  • Making anywhere between 20-30 drops per day
  • Pathology delivery and collections
  • Delivering internal mail between different sites
  • Collecting samples from surgeries as well as hospitals

No hazardous goods or heavy lifting required. Full training will be provided and further opportunities for progression or movement within the company down the line. Induction and assessments will be paid for.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 or over due to insurance purposes
  • No more than 6 points on your licence
  • Full UK driving licence
  • A basic DBS check will be required for the role
