The Production Operative position in Oxfordshire offers a permanent contract with a salary of up to
£27,000 per annum. This role involves contributing to the build, test, and inspection of manufactured products at a reputable firm in South Oxford.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the assembly and finishing of moulded parts, ensuring high workmanship standards.
- Support the preparation of mouldings to meet production schedules.
- Help with the preparation and bonding of boats, including cutting, grinding, and flow coating bonded boats.
- Contribute to the manufacturing process across various stages as directed by the line supervisor.
- Support the production of sub-assemblies when required.
- Assist in training new team members and other personnel.
- Maintain a clean and organised workstation.
- Follow health and safety procedures and company policies at all times.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by senior management.
Qualifications
- A good standard of general education.
- Practical experience in a manufacturing or workshop environment, with the ability to use conventional power and hand tools.
- A proactive, can‑do attitude with the ability to work independently.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
