The Production Operative position in Oxfordshire offers a permanent contract with a salary of up to

£27,000 per annum. This role involves contributing to the build, test, and inspection of manufactured products at a reputable firm in South Oxford.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the assembly and finishing of moulded parts, ensuring high workmanship standards.
  • Support the preparation of mouldings to meet production schedules.
  • Help with the preparation and bonding of boats, including cutting, grinding, and flow coating bonded boats.
  • Contribute to the manufacturing process across various stages as directed by the line supervisor.
  • Support the production of sub-assemblies when required.
  • Assist in training new team members and other personnel.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workstation.
  • Follow health and safety procedures and company policies at all times.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by senior management.

Qualifications

  • A good standard of general education.
  • Practical experience in a manufacturing or workshop environment, with the ability to use conventional power and hand tools.
  • A proactive, can‑do attitude with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions clearly.
  • Organised, reliable, and a team player with a strong work ethic.
