Manpower UK is seeking three Hospital Porters (x3) – Full Time to join a healthcare setting in Oxford.

Based in Headington, this temporary role offers a pay rate of £12.92 per hour, working 37.5 hours weekly from 09:00 to 17:00.

Initially covering sickness absence, the position holds potential for permanent employment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transporting and escorting patients safely throughout the hospital using beds, trolleys, wheelchairs, and chairs.
  • Carrying out general portering duties across the site.
  • Delivering and relocating furniture, equipment, supplies, post, and materials.
  • Collecting, segregating, transporting, and disposing of waste and rubbish in line with site procedures.
  • Cleaning and maintaining wheelchairs and associated equipment.
  • Assisting with mechanical cleaning and other cleaning duties as required.
  • Salting and gritting car parks and external walkways during adverse weather conditions.
  • Delivering linen supplies to wards and departments when required.
  • Using a computerized helpdesk system to log and complete job requests.
  • Supporting additional operational tasks as requested by management.
  • Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with site procedures, health and safety requirements, and service standards.

  • Basic computer skills and confidence using electronic systems.
