Seasonal Gardener – Oxford
Manpower UK is looking for skilled and enthusiastic Gardeners to join our client’s team in Oxford for the spring and summer 2026 season. This is a temporary full‑time contract running from May to October or November 2026. The role offers up to £12.71 per hour and requires Monday‑to‑Thursday 07:30‑16:00 and Friday 07:30‑12:00.
Location: Oxford City Centre, easy travel links.
What You’ll Be Doing
- General grounds maintenance, including planting, weeding, pruning, mowing, edging, fertilising and repairing turf.
- Keeping grounds clean and tidy – sweeping, litter removal, and weed control.
- Maintaining lawns and borders – pruning, planting, watering, shaping hedges and shrubs.
- Using and maintaining garden machinery, tractors and attachments.
- Supporting with landscaping and nursery work under supervision.
- Receiving training on how to record hours using a mobile device.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous gardening or grounds maintenance experience.
- A strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Confidence using garden tools and machinery.
