Order Processing Customer Agent – Technical Capital Equipment, full-time, on‑site contract in the West Midlands with a base salary of £35,000 per annum.

This role sits within the CRM Centre of a global industrial automation leader and bridges technical sales support with operational duties.
The agent acts as the primary customer contact from initial inquiry through final invoicing and delivery, ensuring seamless service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Interaction: Build confirmed orders from the sales team and liaise with customers regarding timelines and items.
- Technical Sales Support: Develop and present sales proposals/quotations, follow up on the business pipeline, and identify opportunities to maximise customer spending.
- Order Management: Take full ownership of the order processing cycle from initial customer order and purchase requests to booking goods, customs clearance, and final invoicing.
- Logistics Coordination: Partner with logistics providers to track deliveries and manage import/export documentation.
- Operational Efficiency: Document all interactions in Salesforce CRM and use SAP to maintain accurate inventory and shipment records.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Align with sales, finance and other internal teams on over‑dues, tax topics and customer advocacy.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Professional experience: Minimum of 2 years in a technical customer‑facing role with complex order workflows.
- Technical skills: Proficiency in SAP and Salesforce CRM (highly advantageous).
