Based in Colwick, this full-time Office Administrator position with HSE Recruitment offers a salary between £28,000 and £33,000, dependent on experience.
Working within the recycling sector, you will handle a broad range of duties, including weighing customers' vehicles upon arrival and departure.
The working pattern is Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5pm, plus a rota covering Saturday mornings from a second site.
This role suits someone who thrives on multitasking and can operate independently. You will join a small, friendly team where your contribution is genuinely valued.

HSE Recruitment Network are working with an existing client in Nottingham to find them a new Office Administrator.
Sector: Recycling
Hours: Mon-Fri 7.30am - 5pm, 3 week rota for Saturday shift 8am - 12noon (at a second site 15 minutes away)
This will be a very varied role so if you are a self-motivated individual, who likes to multitask, try different things and is able to work independently then this could be for you.

Key Responsibilities
- Weighing customers in and out on the weighbridge, input pricing, producing tickets, and obtaining the relevant information/ID to process payment.
- Reception duties, including directing visitors and customers on site, answering the telephone, organization within the office to ensure good presentation, filing etc.
- Assisting buyers out on the road with paperwork, organization and follow up correspondence.
- A creative ability to produce high quality professional marketing material and social media posts to advertise and grow the business.
- General purchasing and sales processes to aid in the concept of producing relevant paperwork and liaising with suppliers and customers face to face, via email or over the telephone.
- Become familiar with pricing structures and material grades to compile self-bills where relevant.
Skills required
- Must be competent in all aspects of office administration, computer skills required to use word, excel and outlook.
- Training provided for internal weighbridge software.
- A minimum of 5 years office experience preferably with supervisor skills to show confidence and ability to lead and use initiative.
- Good telephone manner and a friendly persona a must to ensure customers feel comfortable and confident with the service they receive.
- Ability to multi-task and to stay calm and focused under pressure is essential.
- A positive and can do attitude is imperative and in return all the training and support you require to make an office environment your own.
