The business delivers Building Services solutions across a diverse range of projects and sectors, working from early feasibility through to detailed and fully coordinated designs for installation.

You\'ll join a multidisciplinary team with a strong focus on technical quality, collaboration and continued professional development.

The Role

As a Revit Technician, you will provide technical support within a multidisciplinary team consisting of Building Services Designers, Building Physicists and Document Controllers.

You\'ll work across a wide range of projects from feasibility through to detailed and fully coordinated designs for installation, covering RIBA Stages 0-5.

  • Collaborating with Building Services Engineers to produce coordinated drawings
  • Producing and coordinating Building Services models using Revit MEP
  • Creating and amending MEP families, objects, tags and annotations
  • Creating legends, schedules and templates
  • Producing and amending drawings using Revit MEP and Auto CAD
  • Supporting the delivery of projects within agreed timescales
  • Working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary project team
  • Following BIM protocols and project-specific requirements
  • Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of relevant industry regulations and design standards
  • Providing guidance and support to junior staff and apprentices
  • Liaising professionally with clients, consultants, contractors and colleagues at all levels
  • Ensuring drawings and technical information are delivered accurately and to a high standard

Requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of Revit MEP
  • Experience using Auto CAD and associated computer software
  • Previous experience within the MEP/Building Services industry or a similar technical role
  • Good understanding of Building Services coordination
  • Experience working within a multidisciplinary environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to use initiative and prioritise workloads effectively
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team
  • ONC/HNC in a relevant discipline would be desirable
