Control System Engineers in and around Nottingham/Derby are wanted! I'm currently recruiting on behalf of an exciting systems integrator who works across various industrial automation projects, including battery energy storage systems, water, and baggage handling. This role is based in the office, located between Nottingham and Derby.
There are multiple positions available for engineers who have experience with the full project lifecycle of control systems, taking them from URS/FDS through to PLC programming, HMI development, and overseeing commissioning and installation activities.
What you’ll be doing:
- Building and delivering PLC and SCADA solutions from concept through to site handover
- Taking ownership across the full project lifecycle, including design, FAT/SAT, and commissioning
- Developing and supporting industrial communications (PROFIBUS, PROFINET)
- Creating technical documentation and assisting with customer training
- Mostly office-based engineering, with occasional site work for commissioning
Experience they value:
