Pertemps North Midlands seeks a Class 1 HGV Driver for a full-time, temporary position based in Nottingham.

This role involves trunking between company sites and RDCs, alongside trailer swaps and drops, using a modern fleet with no handball required.

Shifts start between 1400 and 0200, with multiple patterns available.

You must hold a valid Class 1 licence for at least six months, plus a tacho and DQC card.

A proactive approach is essential.

Pay ranges from £18.40 to £28.60 per hour, depending on shift.

For days, the rate is £17.40 per hour (Monday to Thursday 06:00–18:00, Friday 06:00–13:59).

Our client is able to offer ongoing work for Class 1 HGV Drivers.

This will be working with a well maintained and new fleet with no handball required.

Shift Patterns / Working Hours

  • Multiple shift patterns available
  • Shift start times available are between 1400 and 0200

The successful Class 1 HGV Driver will

  • Have a valid Class 1 License for a minimum of 6 months
  • Have a valid tacho and DQC card
  • Have a positive can do attitude

Your duties as a Class 1 Driver will include

  • Trunking between company sites and RDC's
  • Trailor swap and drops

You will receive

  • Days (06:00 - 18:00 Monday to Thursday, 06:00 - 13:59 Fridays) - £17.40 per hour
  • Nights (18:00 - 05:59 Monday to Friday) - £18.40 per hour
  • Weekends (Friday 14:00 to Sunday 23:59) - £22.70 per hour
  • Overtime - £26.10 per hour on Days / £27.60 per hour on Nights
