Key responsibilities
- Full SAP responsibility for HV offshore wind operations
- HV switching, isolations, earthing and LOTO
β’ Manage electrical safety documentation
- Permits to Work
- Sanctions for Test
- Switching schedules
- Review RAMS and work packs
- Coordinate with offshore technicians, control room, OEMs and DNO stakeholders
- Support HV fault finding, restoration and maintenance activities
- Support SCADA and remote switching operations
- Ensure compliance with UK HV Safety Rules and site procedures
Essential requirements
- HV SAP authorisation (mandatory)
- 33k V SAP minimum (66k V desirable)
- Strong HV switching experience under UK Electrical Safety Rules
- Experience in offshore wind, power generation, utilities, oil & gas or similar HV environments
- Experience with HV switchgear, transformers, protection systems and SCADA
- Experience managing electrical safety documentation
- Offshore medical
- ECS/CSCS
- HV SAP competency certification
- First Aid

- Offshore substation experience
