Pertemps Milton Keynes is seeking HGV2 Drivers (Days) for full-time, ongoing work based in Northampton. This position involves multi-drop deliveries across the region, requiring careful loading and unloading of goods, daily vehicle inspections, and precise completion of delivery paperwork. The working pattern operates any five days from seven, with start times between 04:30 and 07:00. Both experienced drivers and those recently passing their Class 2 test are welcome. The hourly rate ranges from £19.93 to £24.54, offering competitive pay for regular assignments. The Role

  • As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for:
  • Completing multi-drop deliveries across the region
  • Ensuring goods are delivered safely and on time
  • Loading and unloading deliveries where required
  • Carrying out daily vehicle checks
  • Completing delivery paperwork accurately
  • Maintaining high levels of customer service
  • Adhering to Driver Hours regulations and company procedures

Pay Rates £19.93 per hour £24.54 per hour

Requirements

  • A valid Category C (Class 2) Licence
  • Valid Driver CPC Qualification
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • Newly passed drivers are welcome to apply
  • No more than 6 penalty points
  • No CU, DD, DR or TT endorsements
  • A professional and reliable attitude to work
  • Good communication and customer service skills
