Pertemps Milton Keynes is recruiting HGV1 and HGV2 Drivers for a distribution client in Northampton.

This full-time position pays £15.52 to £27.28 per hour, with overtime available.

Shifts run Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday, with start times between 04:00 and 12:00, covering roughly 50 hours weekly.

Drivers will handle trunking and multi-drop deliveries, requiring a valid licence, CPC, and digital tachograph card.

You will operate modern vehicles and receive support from a transport office that understands the demands of the job.

You’ll be delivering palletised goods across London and the surrounding areas, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, professionally and on time.

  • HGV1: 2-6 store deliveries per shift
  • HGV2: 1-2 deliveries and collections per shift

You’ll also

  • Complete delivery paperwork
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks
  • Follow all driver compliance procedures
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Keep cool when someone says, I will not keep you long mate before disappearing for half an hour
  • For HGV1 Drivers, truck unloading required
