A full-time HGV Class 2 Driver role in Northampton with a national logistics firm.
Pay £15.52 per hour, with overtime at £21.29 per hour.
This permanent role involves multi-drop deliveries of palletised goods to retail locations, with up to two drops daily plus occasional collections.
Drivers unload using a tail lift.
Consistent shifts are guaranteed, with a minimum of eight hours paid per day and benefits including holiday pay, a pension scheme, annual salary reviews, and training support for licence upgrades.
Responsibilities
- Carry out multi-drop deliveries of palletised goods to retail stores (up to 2 drops per day) and occasional collections.
- Unloading via tail lift and placing pallets in the safe zone for store staff.
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Cat C/E) licence.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card and Driver CPC (DQC).
- No penalty points or convictions for DD or DR.
- Minimum 2 years\' HGV1 experience (or 1 year retail driving).
- Ability to complete a 1-day driving assessment and a 2-day induction.

- Shifts start between 6am and 12pm; Thursday to Monday.
- Guaranteed minimum of 8 hours pay per shift; overtime paid after 8 hours at 1.5x.
