Pertemps Newcastle seeks a Training Administrator for a full-time, temporary post in Durham (Kepier). This three-month assignment, paying £13.48 per hour, supports a client’s Training Department. Working 37 hours weekly, Monday to Friday, the role involves maintaining the training schedule, making bookings onto the OLM database, and performing substantial data input.
The successful candidate will possess proficient IT abilities, strong written and verbal communication, and exceptional accuracy. Prior experience in a similar administrative capacity is beneficial. This position offers the possibility of an extension for the right person. Responsibilities also include preparing materials, responding to enquiries, and ensuring records remain current and compliant.
Training Administrator Full time (37 hours) Monday to Friday Durham (Kepier) One of valued client based in Durham are offering a fantastic opportunity for a Health and safety Administrator who will provide support to their Training Department. This is a full time temporary position for 3 month with the strong possibility of an extension. As a Health and safety Administrator you can expect to receive an hourly rate of £13.48 . The successful candidate must have proficient IT skills and able to display strong written and oral communication skills, Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy are essential skills required as this role will involve a large amount of data input.
Key Responsibilities
- Keeping the training programme up to date
- Making bookings onto the training database (OLM)
- Preparing the joining instructions for delegates
- General day to day administration duties
- Preparation of health and safety documentation to include risk assessments, policies, and other key documents to be reviewed prior to sending.
Key Competencie s
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills with a friendly and professional disposition
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and an ability to work on own initiative
- Ability to work effectively with the wider training team
- Proficient in IT packages, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Ability to prioritise workloads, coordinate and organise all administrative tasks and requirement
- Degree in Buissness or equivalent
- Able to use own initiative as well as take direct instruction, be forward thinking, and manage your own workload when given autonomy
- Some awareness of good practice in Health & Safety management.
The hours of work are Monday to Friday 8:15am till 16:30 with a 36 minute lunch.
