Job Summary: As a BMS Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of Building Management System (BMS) projects, ensuring all commissioning activities are delivered on time and within scopes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Delivery: Manage end-to-end BMS project lifecycle, ensuring all technical and commissioning aspects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Program & Schedule Management: Develop, maintain, and update project schedules, tracking actual progress against planned milestones.
  • Documentation: Produce, manage, and submit all project documentation, ensuring compliance and client approval.
  • Client Liaison: Act as the primary client interface, managing expectations, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction.
  • System Coordination: Coordinate with panel manufacturers, electrical installers, and engineering teams to implement BMS solutions in line with specifications.
  • Project Handover: Conduct system demonstrations, organize handover documentation, and ensure successful project completion.

Essential experience needed:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a BMS Commissioning Engineer
  • Proven delivery of at least 5 commissioning projects, including major/complex projects
  • 5 years experience and knowledge of: HVAC & BMS fundamentals
  • A range of BMS software (Trend, Tridium, Schneider, Johnson Controls etc)
  • ECS or CSCS Card (or equivalent)
  • SMSTS or SSSTS
  • Strong hands-on commissioning and project delivery experience
  • Background working with live electrical/control systems
