We are seeking a number of Learning Support Assistants to work in a post 16 setting. The role is to begin as soon as possible and is on a full-time ongoing basis with the potential of being made permanent.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing one-to-one and small group support to students
- Assisting with learning activities in and outside the classroom
- Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) and learning difficulties
- Encouraging engagement and confidence in learning
Requirements
- Experience working with young people within the past 2 years
- A patient, supportive, and positive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A passion for education and student development
- Fully enhanced DBS or a willingness to apply for one via ourselves
