What you'll be doing as a Warehouse Operative

  • Receiving and processing incoming goods.
  • Loading, unloading and storing materials safely.
  • Picking and packing customer orders with a high level of accuracy.
  • Processing stock movements using warehouse management systems.
  • Supporting production and customer assembly lines.
  • Preparing goods for dispatch.
  • Carrying out specialist activities, including but not limited to decanting vessel sets using an overhead crane, cryofarm operations & magnet handling.
  • Processing returnable packaging and warehouse returns.
  • Delivering materials to local customer sites when required.
  • Maintaining excellent standards of housekeeping, quality and health & safety.

Essential requirements for a successful Warehouse Operative

  • Previous warehouse or logistics experience.
  • Good attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Experience using warehouse or inventory management systems.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team.
  • Someone who values quality over rushing the job.

Desirable

  • Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
  • Powered Pallet Truck (PPT) experience.
