The Class 1 Driver position in Milton Keynes pays up to £17.16 per hour on a temporary contract and involves operating a curtain-sided artic trailer for deliveries across the South of England.
Shift times are Monday to Friday, 05:30 start. The role requires confident navigation of busy London streets and trade premises where goods are unloaded by customer forklifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver products to trade customers throughout the South of England and London.
- Operate a Class 1 articulated vehicle safely and professionally.
- Ensure loads are secured correctly and transported safely.
- Complete all delivery paperwork and PODs accurately.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and comply with driver hours and tachograph regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery locations.
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Experience driving articulated vehicles preferred.
- Good geographical knowledge of the South of England and London.
- Professional, reliable, and safety‑conscious approach.
- Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules effectively.
