Overview
This position is for a Van Driver based in Maidstone, working on a full‑time, temp‑to‑perm basis. The role involves operating a long wheel base van to complete 20–40 multi‑drop deliveries daily. A reliable, long‑term driver is expected.
Working Hours & Pay
Monday to Friday plus a half‑day Saturday (paid at overtime rate). One‑hour unpaid break (return to depot before resuming deliveries). Hourly rate: £14.00 (PAYE via Pertemps). Overtime paid at 1.5× after 48 hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete 20–40 drops per day
- Drive a long wheel base van confidently
- Return to depot for breaks and continue deliveries
- Ensure safe, timely, and efficient deliveries
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Van Driver / Delivery Driver
- Proven experience driving a long wheel base van (LWB)
- Full UK driving licence (no major endorsements)
- Strong route planning and time‑management skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Computer literate
