Labourer (Temp to Perm) – Fire Alarm & Electrical Trainee

Location: Dunstable (with nationwide travel and working away)

Job Type: Temporary to Permanent

Pay Rate: £15.00 - £16.00 per hour

Start: ASAP

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Fire Alarm and Electrical Engineers on commercial and industrial sites.
  • Perform general site labouring and preparation work.
  • Install containment, cable pulling and assist with fire alarm installations.
  • Load and unload materials and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Travel to sites across the UK and work away when required.
  • Learn all aspects of fire alarm and electrical installation.

Requirements

  • Valid CSCS Card (essential).
  • Previous experience working on construction sites.
  • Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away from home during the week when required.
  • Flexible to work long hours and overtime.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
  • Full UK Driving Licence preferred but not essential.
