Wet Play Attendant – West End (Temporary)
The Wet Play Attendant’s role in West End involves overseeing the daily operation of the water play area for a client based in Kensington.
This temporary position runs from April until mid‑September, with a daily shift from 9:30am to 6:00pm, following a 4days on / 2days off pattern.
The pay rate is up to £14.80 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Open and close the wet play area at the specified times.
- Maintain cleanliness of the facility throughout operational hours.
- Oversee the smooth running of sessions, particularly during busy periods, to ensure all users can enjoy the facility.
- Conduct regular water testing and adjust the plant room chemical dosing equipment as needed.
- Perform backwashing of filters.
- Monitor user behaviour to ensure adherence to the facility’s rules and maintain a safe and enjoyable environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Positive “can‑do” attitude and safety‑conscious mindset.
- Driving licence preferred but not essential.
- Willingness to learn and open to training.
- Experience in a similar role desirable, though not essential – all training will be provided.
