Join a world-renowned aerospace organisation as a Trials Technician in Ridsdale on a full-time onsite basis. Due to a drive for greater success, this advanced manufacturing business is currently searching for a Trials Technician to add to their talented, hardworking team in Ridsdale on an initial 12 months contract. Striving for innovation and creativity, you can ensure no two days will be the same.

The rate per hour: £27.80 per hour inside IR35 / umbrella.

The role:

  • As a Trials Technician, you will be working as part of a small team carrying out function testing of company stores.
  • You will assist in the development and setting of test arenas and equipment as required to customer specifications.
  • This includes (but is not limited to):
    • Ensure all equipment required for test and trials are maintained to a high standard and suitable for the task.
    • Use of lifting equipment including fork lift trucks.
    • Completion of equipment records.
    • Setting up, operation and breaking down of test arenas.
    • Providing test data to the Trials Engineer as part of a test report for the customer.

The Role Holder:

  • Experience of working within a mechanical environment.
  • Knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 desirable.
  • Use of SAP, Microsoft Office and Teamcenter are desirable.
  • Have a recognised Safety and Health Management qualification e.g. IOSH, desirable.
