Job Overview

This temporary role is for a Temporary Office Manager and Operations Lead based in London Bridge.

The position runs for two months, with an hourly rate of £21‑£24 and an immediate start required.

Working hours are 8:30am to 5:30pm, with a hybrid model that requires four days on site and one day working from home.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily office management, supplier relationships, and new starter onboarding.
  • Manage recruitment contracts, compliance and governance throughout the contractor lifecycle.
  • Handle IR35, right‑to‑work checks, AWR, references, renewals and operational risk management.
  • Generate contracts, review terms of business and manage Docu Sign processes.
  • Build and maintain operational policies, SOPs and governance frameworks.
  • Act as the key UK contact for the offshore operations team, ensuring clear communication and high service delivery.
  • Manage operational SLAs, report on performance and improve consultant experience.
  • Take ownership of events management.
  • Use Adobe Acrobat proficiently; experience with offshore teams, Front, Smartsheet, U. S. recruitment compliance or operational automation is desirable.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Strong organisational and process‑led approach.
  • Experience in contract generation and compliance with a proven ability to manage the contractor lifecycle.
  • Ability to take ownership of contracts and compliance directly from senior leadership and to exercise sound judgement when escalating or making decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills and a calm presence in a fast‑paced sales environment.
  • Demonstrated capacity to build trust quickly with consultants, offshore colleagues and senior stakeholders.
  • Immediate availability and willingness to start at short notice.
