Overview
The Security Project Engineer – London is based in Central London to cover commercial service, installation and commissioning tasks.
This permanent role offers a salary up to £44,000, plus a performance bonus, company vehicle or zone card, overtime and 22 days holiday.
Responsibilities
- Install and commission security systems including access control, CCTV and related electronic security equipment.
- Work with systems such as TDSi, Paxton NET2 and 10, STID, Axis and Hikvision CCTV.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive service visits, fault finding and remedial works.
- Complete installation and commissioning documentation accurately and hand over systems to clients.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of IP networks, network infrastructure, IP addressing, subnets and VLANs.
- Liaise professionally with clients, site teams and IT departments to coordinate service, installation and commissioning works.
- Read and understand site drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
- Maintain excellent communication, professionalism, time management and organisational standards across multiple sites.
- Maintain a clear track record within security installation and commissioning.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in security installation and commissioning or a related field.
- Relevant qualifications for security systems and installation.
- Willingness to work across Central London.
