Senior HV Electrical Engineer
Location: North Yorkshire
Rate: £65 per hour
Initial 6-month contract
Key experience required:
- Supporting HV operations across renewable and energy storage assets
- Experience working on systems up to 400kV
- Knowledge of HV switching procedures and operational safety standards
- Familiarity with HV plant including transformers, switchgear and protection relays
- Understanding of Grid Code requirements including G99/G100 and RfG
- Supporting outage planning, switching schedules and operational activities
- Experience reviewing protection schemes and relay coordination
- Strong understanding of HV asset maintenance and operational performance
- Ability to maintain technical and operational documentation
- Previous experience within BESS, renewables or utility-scale generation projects
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or equivalent industry experience
