Manpower UK is seeking an interim Data and Analytics Analyst for a 6‑month temporary contract based in Kingston upon Thames.

This full‑time position requires 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and is with a global FMCG client renowned for its ice‑cream brands, including Magnum, Ben & Jerry’s, Cornetto and Wall’s.

Overview

The role offers a competitive salary of up to £52,500 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience.

It uses a hybrid working model, with a mix of remote and on‑site working subject to business requirements.

The analyst will unlock value from wholesaler sales information, translating numbers into actionable business insights to support decision‑making within a well‑known consumer goods environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Connect and integrate wholesaler data from multiple sources (including EPOS, shipment/sell‑in, CRM, partner data).
  • Work with Databricks to query, review and report on large‑scale sales datasets.
  • Leverage data pipelines to access reliable, up‑to‑date wholesaler data.
  • Partner with data engineers to onboard new wholesale partners and data feeds.
  • Ensure consistent, accurate mapping of SKU, customer and channel data.
  • Support and advise on data ingestion processes for wholesaler and partner data to ensure reporting usage.
  • Validate and sense‑check incoming data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Deliver reporting on key commercial metrics (e. g., sales trends, distribution, range compliance, customer performance).
  • Create intuitive data visualisations for sales and account teams.
  • Maintain and improve existing Power BI dashboards to meet business needs.
  • Identify opportunities to utilise new technology to present data in the best way.
  • Act as a Power BI super user and enable self‑serve analytics for commercial teams.
  • Support scalable solutions that accommodate new data sources and analytical requirements.

Qualifications

  • Strong commercial experience designing and implementing Power BI solutions.
  • Proven expertise in data modelling, data transformation and report development.
  • Experience creating dashboards, data visualisations and management information reporting.
  • Strong understanding of KPI and OKR reporting frameworks.
  • Ability to translate complex sales data into clear insights and actions.
  • Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in handling commercial datasets.
  • Experience working with Databricks and large‑scale sales data is desirable.
