About the Role
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Logistics Coordinator to support our operations team.
The successful candidate will play an important role in managing deliveries and collections, coordinating schedules, and maintaining effective communication with customers, drivers, site managers, and other key contacts.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate deliveries and collections in line with operational requirements.
- Work closely with site managers to agree delivery and collection dates, ensuring all necessary arrangements are confirmed.
- Serve as a central point of contact for customers, drivers, and site teams, providing timely updates and responding to queries.
- Support the administration of the company fleet, ensuring vehicles are used efficiently and relevant records are kept up to date.
- Track logistics schedules and proactively deal with any problems or delays that could affect service levels.
- Ensure internal systems and records are accurately maintained and updated when required.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience within logistics, transport, fleet management, administration, or a coordination-based position.
- Strong communication and telephone skills, with the ability to deal confidently and professionally with a variety of stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- The ability to prioritise workloads and remain effective in a busy, fast-moving working environment.
- Good computer literacy, including experience using Microsoft Office applications.
