Manpower UK seeks a Recycling Operative / Telehandler Driver for its Leeds LS11 site in Beeston. This temporary role pays £15.10 hourly, rising to £30.20 for overtime, and runs Monday to Friday on an afternoon shift from 3:30pm to midnight.
You will operate a telehandler to move materials, load vehicles, and support general site tasks. A valid telehandler certificate is essential, alongside a strong commitment to safety procedures. The position suits someone reliable who works well within a busy waste operation. Prior experience in recycling or a similar setting is advantageous.
Location: Beeston, Leeds (LS11)
Shift and Hours:
- Shift: Afternoon Shift
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:30pm to 12:00am (midnight)
Role:
- Operating a Telehandler to support waste and recycling site operations
- Loading, moving, and transporting materials safely around the site
- Assisting with general site duties when required
- Working closely with the operations team to ensure site efficiency
- Following all health and safety procedures and site regulations
Requirements:
- Valid Telehandler qualification/licence (in-house or external certificates accepted)
- Previous experience operating a Telehandler
- Experience working within waste management, recycling, or similar industrial environments is highly desirable
- Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence (Category B) - essential
