Location: Barrow (Hybrid, 2 days onsite per week)
Duration: 6 Month Contract Initially
Rate: Β£63.40 per hour umbrella (Inside IR35)
Notes: Working on UK eyes only projects, must be eligible for SC
Overview: Looking for a cost engineer. Lead for cost control across the AVC project. Ensuring we're abiding by our budget on a day to day basis. Ensuring in line with our forecast. Updating the spend forecast and being able to articulate any cost variances. Developing the estimate of completion (EAC).
Ideally someone with experience as a Cost Lead Expert on Dreadnought (desirable). If not Dreadnought, other similar industries - i.e. Oil & Gas. Looking for some logic based approach.
Ideally some form of PM qualification but not essential.
Key Deliverables:
- Able to perform advanced project reporting & scheduling.
- Able to undertake advanced problem solving typically based on previous experience.
- Have a comprehensive knowledge of Business process and procedures.
- Administration and general office skills including spreadsheets/ Microsoft packages.
- Attend on the job training as appropriate.
- Able to lead the PM&C processes on a small project or a work package of a larger project.
Knowledge / Skills & Qualifications:
