Role Overview
A Labourer is required in Prescot to join a flooring installation team on a short-term contract, earning up to £150 per day. The role involves assisting fitters with installations, moving materials, preparing work areas, and removing old flooring. General labouring duties and adherence to site health and safety procedures are expected. Candidates must hold a valid DBS certificate, be physically fit, reliable, and able to follow instructions within a team. Previous experience is not essential, making this suitable for someone with a practical attitude and strong work ethic seeking temporary manual work.
Duties
- Assisting flooring fitters with installation work.
- Moving materials and equipment around site.
- Preparing work areas and keeping them clean and tidy.
- Removing old flooring and disposing of waste materials.
- Supporting the team with general labouring duties as required.
- Following all health and safety procedures on site.
Requirements
- Valid DBS certificate (essential).
- Reliable and punctual.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Previous labouring or construction experience is beneficial but not essential.
Working Hours
Standard day shifts. 7 AM - 3 PM OR 8 AM - 4 PM
Overtime may be available depending on project requirements.
This is a straightforward temporary role designed to provide additional support to the flooring installation team for a one-week project.
