Pertemps is recruiting a 7.5 Tonne Driver to represent Parcelforce Worldwide in Inverness. This temporary role involves operating a Royal Mail vehicle on designated routes, loading and unloading mail and parcels, and delivering items to distribution points and local teams. You will perform daily vehicle checks, maintain cleanliness, and uphold professional customer service standards.
Requirements
- Full UK manual driving licence with category C1 entitlement (7.5T) with no more than 6 points. Previous experience driving a 7.5T vehicle essential. Good knowledge of Inverness and surrounding areas. Physically fit with ability to lift parcels up to 20kg. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Ability to pass a DBS (criminal background) check. You will also need to provide a Valid Tachograph card.
Your Role
- Drive a 7.5-tonne Royal Mail vehicle safely and responsibly on assigned routes. Load and unload mail and parcels efficiently. Deliver mail and parcels to distribution points and local delivery teams. Perform daily vehicle checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness. Provide excellent customer service and represent Royal Mail professionally.
