The Internal Sales Executive position in Burntwood offers a salary of £28,000 to £30,000 per annum on a full‑time, permanent basis. This customer‑focused role involves generating new business through proactive outbound calls, nurturing relationships with prospective and existing clients, and guiding them toward suitable products and services.
What you’ll be doing:
- Proactively contact prospective customers to introduce our products and services and create new sales opportunities.
- Speak with both new and existing customers, building trust and developing long‑term relationships.
- Ask the right questions to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions from our product range.
- Manage sales enquiries from initial contact through to quotation, negotiation and completion.
- Keep in touch with customers after quotations and enquiries to progress opportunities and secure orders.
- Deliver clear product information and presentations where required.
- Maintain accurate customer details, notes, quotations and activity records using CRM and internal systems.
- Process and monitor quotations, purchase orders and follow‑up actions.
- Work closely with Customer Service and Finance teams to ensure orders and customer queries are handled efficiently.
- Monitor your own pipeline, sales activity, targets and commission performance.
- Produce regular sales updates and reports for management.
- Keep up to date with market developments, customer demand and competitor activity.
- Work towards agreed monthly, quarterly and annual sales objectives.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in a sales, telesales, business development or customer‑facing role is desirable.
- A confident and professional telephone manner, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to build rapport quickly and maintain positive customer relationships.
