A Good secondary school in Dudley is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable History Teacher to join its successful Humanities department from September 2026 on a long-term supply basis. The successful candidate will teach History across KS3, KS4, and KS5, delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons that inspire students to explore historical events, cultures, and societies while developing critical thinking, analytical, and research skills. You will support learners in achieving success in their GCSE and A Level History qualifications through high-quality teaching and effective assessment.
Working within a supportive Humanities department, you will be responsible for planning and delivering well-structured lessons, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and creating an inclusive classroom environment where curiosity and academic excellence are encouraged. You will maintain high expectations for behaviour, participation, and achievement while fostering a passion for history and independent learning.
