THIS IS AN INTERESTING POSTION WORKING FOR A REPUTALBE COMPANY OFFERING A BESPOKE EDM/WIRE SERVICE WITHIN THE AEROSPACE/GENERAL ENGINEERING INDUSTRY. MUST HAVE EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE WITHIN AN EDM/WIRE EDM ENVIRONMENT AND RELIABLE WITH FULL COMPETENCE IN THIS SECTOR OF EDM/SPARK/WIRE EROSION. WE ARE A SMALL TEAM OF SKILLED ENGINEERS THAT WORK CLOSELY TOGETHER.
CORE SKILLS
- GOOD KNOWLEDGE SETTING PARTS USING CLOCK 2D CAD
- EXPERIENCE ALTHOUGH TRAINING WILL BE GIVEN
- ABILITY TO READ AND INTERPRET ENGINEERING DRAWINGS
- THEN TRANSLATING TO SETTING UP PARTS ON MACHINES IS A NECESSITY
- ABILITY TO PROGRAMME, SET AND OPERATE VARIOUS EDM/WIRE MACHINES
- PROFICIENT IN WORKING TO TIGHT LIMITS/TOLERANCES
- FINISHES WITH A HIGH LEVEL OF ACCURACY AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL
- BEING CAPABLE IN SHOP FLOOR MEASURING EQUIPMENT EXCELLENT
- AWARENESS OF HEALTH AND SAFETY ASPECTS AT WORK
- WORK WELL UNDER PRESSURE AS VERY BUSY SECTIONS
