The HGV2 HIAB Driver based in Goring will deliver building materials to commercial and residential sites using a Class 2 vehicle with a remote grab attachment. This full-time position offers £18.50 per hour.
Duties include:
- Safe loading and unloading
- Performing daily vehicle inspections
- Completing necessary paperwork
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- HIAB Remote Grab certification (essential)
- Valid CPC and Digi Tacho cards
- Previous experience in a builders’ merchant setting preferred
- Strong understanding of health & safety procedures
- Professional and customer-focused attitude
Responsibilities:
- Deliver building materials to both commercial and residential sites
- Operate a HIAB with remote grab attachment safely and efficiently
- Load and unload products in line with health & safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery points
- Complete daily vehicle checks and relevant paperwork
Pay & Hours:
£18.50 per hour, Monday-to-Friday, 07:00am starts
