HGV Technician – Brierley Hill
The position offers a salary between £37,440 and £51,480 per annum on a full‑time, permanent basis, or £16.00 – £22.00 per hour depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine servicing, inspections, maintenance and repairs on HGV vehicles.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical and technical faults.
- Complete preventative maintenance to minimise vehicle downtime.
- Carry out MOT preparation and rectification work where required.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
- Maintain accurate job records and documentation.
- Follow health and safety procedures and company standards at all times.
- Work effectively as part of a skilled workshop team.
About You
- Previous experience working as an HGV Technician or in a similar commercial vehicle role.
- Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding skills.
- Good understanding of HGV systems and mechanical components.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Take pride in producing high‑quality workmanship.
- Reliable, professional and safety‑focused.
